Here's pics from today. It's been raining so my car is a bit dirty - I did wipe that brake dust off for the pics tho.

looks great. Can you shoot the rear of it closer? How does it match up with the black fender?

A little dark but hope it helps.

Does it look out of place in person?

That gap does not look good. These are half the depth of OEM boards.

4MoJoe 10-04-2007 11:25 PM

I don't think so. There is a a slight lip at each end but it fits the contour of the plastic below. One thing I'll say is that there was basically very little in install instructions so I spent time placing them before drilling the holes and mounting it. So it pays to have a blanket below in case you drop it.

I also thought the quality of the boards to be top notch and I like the brushed X5 logo on it. I paid $380 for mine (shipped) and I'm happy with the amount I spent for the look. I guess I thought the OEM was much more and the install scared me off.

I can try to take some more pics in the morning with a better camera in the light. I was using my iPhone for these. (p.s. do you live on this board? :o) ) I know I do...

I should mention that the boards are flush horizontally on the black plastic and also there is no gap between any surfaces at the edges.
