Exhaust upgrade or suspension upgrade?
Hello Guys,
warranty will be expired on August 08' and decided not to expend. and then mod bug started attacking my brain again, have two upgrade parts are on my mind. Eisenmann Dual Racing Exhaust with 4.8 OEM tips or AC Schnitzer Sport Suspension Kit $$ damage will be similar, but can't decide. I've had spring upgraded twice already (H&R and Eibach), but didn't really catch my taste. (oh yeah, it was good looking tho!) so ACS kit will be my last try for suspension upgrade. so, what would you do if you have same dilemma? |
Hi Kris how are ya? My two cents is to get the Eisenmann with 4.8is tips. I used to have this exact setup on my old 4.4i and I absolutely loved the sound and the rumble (without being offensive). I also have the H&R setup on the 4.4 and loved it as well. Personally I'm don't have experience with ACS lowering kit but the H&R worked great on my 4.4i. I'm not sure you'll notice any difference between the two.
PS: I've always said you have the best-looking X5 (E53) in the biz and my opinion still stands today. |
Exhaust!
I vote for the exhaust upgrade

Can't speak for the ACS exhaust kit but the Eisenmann race kit sounds wonderful. If it was my wallet I'd go that route. Good luck whatever you decide.
