Best Service/Dealership in LA?

I just bought a CPO X5 and was curious what the best dealership for service in the Los Angeles is? Santa Monica and Beverly Hills BMW are close to me but I wanted to ask my fellow X5ers which dealership in the LA area has the best techs and service department?

Thanks so much!!

P.S: I would take it where I bought it, but they are in Northern California :)

I've had nothing but good experiences with Sterling down here in Newport. But that's a bit far...

Long Beach BMW

Long Beach is bad...took them 3 attempts to fix a bad fan belt and tensioner on my X5 4.8...lot's of other small stuff they don't pay attention to ...I asked to speek to a manager and the "too cool" cashier... (short and chubby) said he was gone...said he would call me..10 days later I am still waiting. Like I said nothing catastrophic if you don't want it fixed right the first time and don't mind beastly girl attitude :nanana:

I bought my '01 from Long Beach, service was great.
When I moved to the So. Bay, I switched to South Bay BMW, they're in Torrance now I believe. Also very good.

I've had great experience with Crevier BMW at Orange County. Plus, alot of members get discounts on parts there if you just mention that you're a member.

I got my CPO from SouthBay BMW and they are pretty good as well. They are in Torrance. Ask for Darryll or Dan.

But a little closer to LA would be Alhambra so you might want to check out New Century BMW and ask for John Velarde. He's the SA that I deal with over there and mention this forum and he will know. I got great service from him.

Good Luck!

Beverly Hills BMW is supposed to have the best and most knowledgeable techs in our area. When I used to live in Santa Monica, a neighbor of mine was the area field engineer (i think that's his title) for the So Cal area and that is where he recommended me to go. He says Crevier is good too, but they're a bit far from us.

+1 so far no problems with South Bay BMW.

Stay away from Pacific BMW in Glendale too. Nothing but excuses, dented cars, and missed promises.

Bob Smith BMW is the worst on planet earth. Hands down. Assael also sucked years ago, not sure about now. Crevier is okay in OC, at least they have loaners. Sterling is okay too, but loaners are cheap cars from Alamo and they are rare.
