X5 Damage!
 

Hello all,

First post, and not on a good note. I managed to do 'some' (cough, cough) damage to my X5. I have attached two pics of the back of the car. The Right wheel is OK, but the left is not so healty. Could be the subframe, but I am not sure!

I managed to go off road, the front of the car has the splits, and the left rear, of which one of the pic is, is not in the best shape.

Just looking for some comments and info, before I go to my BMW garage.

roadrunner: I feel for you, buddy. That looks painful....... the only time you should take an X5 off-road is when you are gonna park on the lawn.......

I appreciate it's not an off road car, but it was that or straight into a highway guard rail!

Anyone got any comments on the damage?

Holy crap!

Ummm..... looks fine man, just use some JB weld, be good as new!!!!;-)

If your car is under warranty, then take it to dealer.... If not, I would recommend taking it to a well-known BMW shop around your area to look over things..... There are things that may not appear in pictures, but in person, that can possibly cause a lot of damage in the long run!

lemans4.8: Are you seeing those pics? What the hell does warranty have to do with that damage? If he tries to get that repaired under warranty, BMW will piss their pants from laughter.......

Not sure that's a warranty issue so much as a "Hey, I don't think this is going to buff out - can you give it a good once-over for me and supply an estimate?" issue...
