you just need a glue gun. Fasten the "glue rod" in the middle of the dent and gently pull it out. The metall have some memory so it will try to get back to original state. but anything big, go pro as everybody says.

...the "glue rod"? what is that?, the wife has a glue gun and some of those glue sticks... is that what you're talking about?

Yes those and then some chemical to remove them after pulling the dent out.

So I just heat a glue stick, place it on the dent, wait til it dries and then pull?

what chemical do you recommend? to remove it?

A friend of mine used the ' Ding King ' on his 325 and it worked great. It will only work on non creased dents like everyone has said. I have a small dent on my x5 that we're about to try it on and I'll let you know how it turns out. This is a historic post for me it's my first!

I dont know the correct word for the "glue rod". But you feed the glue gun with some hard glue, which come in different color and hardness. it looks like a big clear pencil. but you can of corse use different things to attach to the dent. but it easy to remove the glue and the "rod" with a hair dryer after you pulled out the dent. if this made anything clearer.

its a hot glue gun and its a hot glue stick... the one that i had with mine is black so maybe its stronger than the other stuff??

Hal72 02-16-2008 04:02 PM

just try with the black stick. you should use the stronges/hardest glue. if not, the stick and glue will just loosen when you try too pull out the dent. and you need to clean the area with the dent so the glue will stick.
