I am a Electronics Engineer with mostly GPS experience in DOD. But I have about 6-7 years RF/Radar experience. THe V1 is the best detector out there. I have used GPS and RF jammers. I have done some tests with the V1, Escort 8500 and the K40. The K40 was installed internally in my Twin Turbo, the V1 was mine and portable, the Escort was a friend's.
I got to admit the K40 was the best cell phone tower detector money can buy. The V1 to me is worth triple its price. Plus when it gets abit old send it in and it gets refurbed as good as new. The 8500 was inbetween. I cant reveal the tests or locations because I was ..how can I say this...fooling around between some real tests.
