no deal - get the 4.4.

Thanks for the reply but I am specifically looking for 3.0
So if someone with the similar options and engine gives me some feedback I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

not terrible but I would shoot for closer to 25,000. Mainly, it is an old body style and it isn't gaining any value sitting on their lot.

try to get $29k out the door

Wouldn't buy from a dealer for such a new vehicle.

Go private party and use the warranty to fix up any issues, saving yourself at least a couple grand in the process.

the 3.0 liter gets 18mpg in mixed driving and in a world of $3.50 gas, you have the leverage....

FYI I saw a 2006 x5 with 12k miles in Pittsburgh (stick shift) offered at $32K on ebay.

I paid 26,200 for my 2005 4.4 last month at Manheim Auction in ATL with 35k miles, premium package, rear climate package and two new tires. The market isn't that good but if they sent it to auction they may get up to 27 - 28 based on others I saw sell so your price is not bad especially if it comes with the CPO which mine did not.

So you paid 26K for 4.4 at the auction + auction fees probably (which is for Dealers only), he is talking about 3.0 for 29K. I don't see how it's not bad?

Yeah, 31 seems a bit high for a '05 3.0 to me...
