I too was uptight about bringing my car for first CPO service a month ago. While the advisors are somewhat curt, they are extremely helpful and are very willing to work with your issues which can be covered under CPO. Also they called me regarding other issues, but I kindly refused, and they noted the refusal on the service bill, which I end up doing it myself or getting the job done elsewhere. I do get nervous about bumps. dings, and dents, but Openroad BMW, Edison, NJ, seems to be my place for service considering my car has been there overnight for a total of 4 days thus far and not one problem since!

Did you turn the car completely off when fueling?

If you didn't, this should only be a temporary problem
