bcb1, hey, no hard feelings. I too learned by asking and hanging out with "gearheads". I guess my point is that one must make the investment in time, like you and I did to understand automobiles. Asking a series of unrelated questions without doing any research or having the interest to personally spend time around car people is not going to work. Tom

That is an excellent point. And you guys are right, things like youtube are incredible for learning DIY stuff. I just watched one on finishing drywall mud around ceiling and outlet boxes - very slick. I imagine there are also good ones on engine maintenance, paint and body stuff too.

It makes growing up in the 70's and 80's seem like a loooong time ago :)

I myself also watched how to use Clay Bar on a vehicle on youtube and after that, I have been using it ever since. The net can be a very valuable tool if used properly...
