Driving down the 6 lane highway and traffic is fairly heavy. I am in a middle lane coming up on a truck on my left.

There is at best 4 ft between he and I as I come up alongisde him.

I looked over suddenly shocked to see this idiot on a Harley try to cut through between us. It is so tight that he has come racing up but misjudged the gap and has to inch through.

I have immediately eased sideways to give him room as well as getting on the horn (to let him know this was too close).

I let him get through and then he cut me off and slowed down in front of me... Why, I have no idea.... maybe because I had the cheek to beep my horn at his actions.

All this happened at 100km/h. The photos below show his side bag where it rubbed on my front wheel, and caught on the trim.

Stupid AND dangerous. He's lucky you were considerate and that he's still alive to ride another day. With that kind of behavior, though, his days are numbered. :tsk:

Thank god it could have been much worse.

I would have stayed in my lane and if he bumped into, I would probably just run right over him. Nature just weeding out the stupid.

In Chicago during the summer months this happens often. They come flying up behind and try and squeze by. However, I try and make it as hard as possible without getting out of my lane. I have no remorse for this idiots.
