X5 totaled
 

X5 just got totaled. Driving north on GA 400 and a guy in a Dodge Ram pulls across the highway in front of me. I had very little time to slow down or react. I hit him as a guess between 35 and 40 miles per hour on his rear passenger wheel. It hit him so hard that it spun the truck around and flipped it on its side. My son and I are fine...I have a few airbag burns but other than that...ok...The X5 is a goner. I will miss her... If it were anything else I would have not been so lucky. The X5 held up very well... There will be another X5 in the near future...This car saved me and my son from serious injury...PICS of the car to come soon!!!

yeah all that matters is that you and your son are okay. everything else can be replaced. good luck with the new x5!

Sorry to hear about your X5. Glad you and your son are OK. BMW magazine publishes accident story like yours where the BMW sacrificed its life to save the occupants.
