2002 x5 3.0 washer fluid leak

hey mates,

any one had washer fluid leak? how solved?

Tomaz 06-30-2008 04:36 PM

Mine leaked because of a rubber grommet that holds the pump motor (there are 2) in place. Look around the motors for signs of a leak. My cheapest fix so far!

rubber grommet??? where are they located? below washer tank? side??

juppalgae 06-30-2008 05:35 PM

there is a hose or whatever that is below the washer tank... the hose's got a full of the fluid... any idea?

Because he replaced them himself, as he said above. How can anyone be sure where your leak is, except you?

You certainly are working hard at making friends here.

I'm not sure. Wipe everything clean. and continue to look for the source of the leak. That's how I found mine.
