I would still get an indy mechanical to run the code and see where it points, otherwise your going in on a blind guess. You could change both sensors and it might not fix it, but its the normal problem, like i mentioned before, its around $90 for each complete sensor replacement.

PS: I have the same problem with the brakes, im replacing all 4 rotors and pads.

although I just fixed an X5 today that an indy replaced the sensor on (it did have a code for the L/R sensor) but the sensor was reading correctly. It ended up being a control problem on this one. In the black hump under the spare houses the pump, supply relay and solenoid valves... the relay has been a problem before also... its a regular 30/87 relay.

My only point in this would be to make sure whoever looks at it known how to function check each component and how the system operates, otherwise it could get expensive throwing parts at fault codes. Its not always the component that is named in the fault that is the problem, but something it affects.

ok, so i am confused, is it normal when you turn the car off for you to hear a pshhhh noise from the front of the car? mine has done this since I got it and i have had no indication that there is anything wrong.. is this normal?

Not many good INDY mechanics around here. Theres one shop that deals with high end cars like BMW, Mercedez, Jag, Porsche but not many good ones.

Anyway, that shop doesn't have the software to check the suspension code.

I bought the peake scan tool hopping it would be able to read the codes but it don't.
