got the x5 blues
 

i just sold my 03 sports 4.4---it was a real pain because of the constant issues---but i miss driving that vehicle----i have tested ml, mdx, rr but nothing comes close----what would be the best year x5 to buy and is the 4.6 and 4.8 better

By better he means that they are slower, less reliable and don't have the car-like handling of an X5. :thumbup:

get a 2006 4.8 under warranty.. so all you have to do is bring her to dealer if there are issues. I dont mind if there are issues.. its the $ spent on those issues that bothers me.. but luckily i haven't had any majors and still going strong in my 01.. knock on wood..
