lovethesport is on a distinguished road
got the x5 blues
i just sold my 03 sports 4.4---it was a real pain because of the constant issues---but i miss driving that vehicle----i have tested ml, mdx, rr but nothing comes close----what would be the best year x5 to buy and is the 4.6 and 4.8 better

Would be interesting to hear all of the issues you had, so I know what to expect when my 4.4 gets old and rickety.

whats the difference you found between the x5, ml and RR or RRS

And FAT_X5 why is the RRS better?

just wondering cos my x5 is acting like a nagging wife!

By better he means that they are slower, less reliable and don't have the car-like handling of an X5.

get a 2006 4.8 under warranty.. so all you have to do is bring her to dealer if there are issues. I dont mind if there are issues.. its the $ spent on those issues that bothers me.. but luckily i haven't had any majors and still going strong in my 01.. knock on wood..
