I know 2 guys on another local forum I'm on that do custom CF work. Lot's of overlay stuff but one of them might be able to help you make a custom piece if you're interested, or at least get you some info on it. If you're interested, shoot me a PM and I'll get you some contact info for them

Correction 07-up have CF hoods available.

If you guys do this, (which I'd HIGHLY recommend against for fitment and integration of OEM parts attachment issues) please install a set of these hoodpins:
AeroCatch - Panel Fastening for the 21st Century I had a CF hood without pins detach from the factory latch on my car and fly off at speed. That was NOT fun. On the track car I run the aerocatch pins now. Honestly guys, the headache v. weight savings isn't worth it... if you have AAA, just remove the spare tire and tools instead. These savs are really classy and IMHO, cf hoods would be a not so good idea. But, to each their own. Good luck, and hope to hear some reports back for fitment. |
I have one on my civic but I painted it and you cannot tell the difference. i dont think it will make a noticeable difference in acceleration
