Looking really nice!! To the other folks wondering about packaging quality, there is a plastic lip guard on the face of the wheel. There is also an elastic fabric bag (looks like a cafeteria server's hairnet) over the wheel face. Finally, there is a plastic bag over the whole thing, and a specially cut piece of cardboard that's designed to further protect the lip from foreign objects bumping into the box. Having said that, the shipper could still manage to damage the wheel by accidentally dropping the box, as it is lacking any kind of thick foam padding to protect it from drops. If you choose to have it shipped, inspect the box for external damage and if the box is torn or dented, take pics BEFORE you open it. If possible, have the delivery driver verify what you are seeing. Your wheels will probably arrive without a problem. But you can't control how well the shipper handles your wheels so take precautions in case you need to file a claim.

Update..
 Ok after a week or two of advice, opinions, and shopping around:confused: .....and comparing to what I have been riding on for two years now.....I have decided to go with the TOYO Proxes ST....275-40-20 315-35-20
I was ready to rock and roll with the Mich Diamaris, then I looked at Vredestein's, and then that opened up Pandoras Box and I really started to do research......The Toyo's are actually discontinued, but there is plenty of stock out there should I need a new tire......worst case scenario I go to the Proxes ST II's down the road......I have found that choosing tires was not as easy as I thought and for ..bang for the buck....I like the deal that I got balanced and installed.... who knows..maybe I am completely out of my tree :banghead: and I will go to the Michelins in a year or another brand for that matter...but for now....for my 215 reps......this is the path I will travel... Thanks to everyone for their input...ya'll know who you are..... Rich:thumbup: |
