New brembo rotor and axxis pads R in
 
My new Brembo cross drilled rotors and Axxis Delux pads just came in, today i painted the calipers ( red) and hopefully i can have intall the new rotors and pads before friday....i will post some pic, and a note about performance on the new brakes compared to the old ones....

Front (Pair) - Brembo Sport CROSS-DRILLED Brake Rotors part# 35535 $180

Rear (Pair) - Brembo Sport CROSS-DRILLED Brake Rotors part# 35523 $148

PBR/Axxis Deluxe FRONT Brake Pad Set part# D 1620 R/4 $60

PBR/Axxis Deluxe REAR Brake Pad Set part# D 936 R/5 $30

BMW brake sensor front and back( from the stealer ) set $48

Paint caliper kit ( from local Auto Zone ) $15

Shipping cost: UPS ground (5 to 7 business day) $59.21

TOTAL $540.21
i got 2 choices to install my self or have a friend shop do it for $180
if i have it done by the shop it will be a total of $ 720.21
not bad, the dealer wanted $1,100 to do the job and keep in mind that this new rotors are better than the OEM........

so i saved a lots of money and have better breakes tham the OEM one :D

Thanks for the info. Keep us posted with the results. Also I would be interested to know if this cut down the brake dust issue

no :tsk: didn`t really think of it, maybe because the lines that are on are good and they are not visible when the tire and wheel is on so it will not add to the looks of the red caliper and the brembo cross drilled rotors :rolleyes:

Interested in your opinion on braking power after you install it. I have the exact same setup on my 740il (Brembo x-drilled rotors & Axxis deluxe pads), but won't put it on my X until after the warranty expires.

I can tell you that it's brake dust free. I love that part of it!

Job is done :thumbup: the brembo cross drilled rotors and Axxis delux pads are on and working nice, after they ere installed it was time to hit the free way :D to bed in the pads, everything when :thumbup:

ok, ok, guys ,,, the answer is YES, yes they do perform better than the OEM, i will post some pic, info, links and more performance comparison.


from this weekend i`ll be going to a few sposts on boston (ma) anyone around there ? drinks ? :beerchug:

Great. How long did it take you to do the 4 wheels?

about 20 minutes on each wheels, i was not able to put the truck on a lifter because of the aero kit on my truck, there is plactic covers an all the edges so i endeup using the regular jack :(
