i just wanted to let everyone know i figured out what could be a problem as i fixed my door for free, friday night i came home in the pouring rain and it was i would say 30 degrees outside and over night the temp went down im assuming ice built up in the lock and disabled the lock mechanism from moving and wouldnt let me open the door from in or outside last night however i ran a hair dryer over the door for about 5 or so minutes and opened the door from the inside then i moved the lock and shut the door then i was able to open the door perfectly again i hope this helps everyone as it keeps you all from spending money
