weasel,

Sorry I couldn't pass it up! If I didn't say something I was afraid that someone would start opining about their Pacer next......... I too have been owned a couple of Fords, currently a 06 F-250 with a fabtech 8" lift kit, it's way redneck!

BF

as for weasel being a mad man, he is from the south and if i learned one thing about the south in my 5 1/2 years of attending college in GA, is that when it comes to mud boggers (more of a southern term for off roadin) they are a little bit more crazy than most, but my buddy did put a 350 in one of his jeep wranglers (new englander)

Don't criticize mudding until you've done it, it's actually a ton of fun

Not so cool to get caught speeding at 120 mph(yes, I had Passport 8500 radar ) and when you look at the actual speed on the GPS and it shows 136.
Glad I didn't spend the weekend in jail as I had an international flight on Monday. Thank you officer.
Could have paid the $304 fine but insurance would have gone through the roof.
Ended up paying $700(2 installments) and deferred adjudication for 3 months.
$700 that could have gone towards a kit or brake upgrade.

Didn't BMW put a V10 of some sort in an X, heavily modified, and set course record on some famous track? Pretty impressive for what was still a tall vehicle.

On a fast car note, there was a recent TV show where they took a new Mercedes CL AMG out. Twin turbo V12, over 600 hp! He actually beat some pretty hot cars at the drags (until he met up with a 500 ci actual drag car).

He said over 200 mph without the limiter, and I forget what that is.

He burned up over a grand in tires, burning them endlessly in parking lots with a hot, but annoying, women in the car with him. Actually, I drove one of these and it scared the hell out of me. I punched it on the freeway and did not expect the absolutely violent result, even with traction control on.

The sad thing is that the Britney Spears' MB, the one she was always being totally irresponsible in, was supposedly one of these. I think it is good that nobody was killed during her crazy times. Sad because she hasn't a clue or any appreciation.
