California X5 4.4i

Hi!

I really want to purchase an X5.

I found a X5 4.4i in California, with Premium/Sport Package X5 with 19' Sport Wheels, w/ ParK Distance Control.
The milage on this car is 25,000 miles.

I phoned into the dealer (a BMW dealer), and they said that there has been no accidents, and that the car has had only 1 owner. I went their to test drive the car too, and it drove very well (although I've never driven an X5 before).

I really want to know if you guys think this is a good deal or not. And if you don't think its a good deal, what price you would pay for it.

Thanks a million.

I appreciate all the help.

What are they offering it to you for?
I wouldn't pay any more than 36

Hi!

I think the car is priced around 26,000.00

I was thinking - is it possible that someone can reduce the milage on the speedometer?

Why is the car so cheap?

Also, if I were to purchase this vehicle, would any of you recommend me getting a mechanic to do an inspection?
The dealer said that it has covered warranty until Feb 2009.

Thanks a million.

It would also depend on how its loaded - options etc? And.. warranty.. is only like 2 months.. not all that long. Usually people trade them in as some don't want to be out of pocket when warranty expires (assuming also they care not to buy extended).

What year is it? an 04? 05? 06?

And no, it's almost impossible to change the odometer.

I would consider an extended warranty.

I assumed it was an 05 because mine is.

:iagree: Difficult to tell without knowing the year.
Odometer reading is stored at several places and the key.

Hi Guys!!!!

Thanks for the email. I'm sorry I didn't clarify earlier.

Its a 2005 BMW X5 4.4i (with 19" rims, and it had a 'panoramic sun roof' - the coolest thing I've ever seen).

Its priced at 24,900.00

Thanks a lot!
