Wash that car asap and don't worry about the temps outside. For the first time in my life I've been visiting a car wash. Just way too cold and way too much salt around here.
|
HOLY!!!! Mine is super dirty too. It's Toledo blue but it looks brown.
|
Good thing I have hot water in the garage! I just spray it down and at least remove the salt.

Thanks for looking out. I do realize that, hence waiting several hours before the wash down... Temps in the garage is around 60 degrees after parking the X5 for at least 2hours. with outside temp between 20-30 degrees. |
Really. I didn't think that could happen. Drive to Florida, wash it, and come back....

45 degs F for our 8:00 AM tee time. Maybe got to 65, but it was good enough to give the CEO's car a quick wash after chasing the ball. The tree frog, nocturnal, was huddled pretty tight on the Ti plant while it slept all day, however. Gee, I really miss fookin winter. ... :bustingup BR,mD |
mine too is also really white and its suppose to be black!
i figured cleaning it, and then driving it in windchills of -40 isn't a good idea since the water would freeze so i let it get dirty. Am I doing the wrong thing? |
I've had mine for 4 winters with the same conditions. I do wash it, but not when it's this cold. I use a high pressure washer at the self car wash, it's too cold to use my own pressure washer. I haven't had any spots of rust yet. If I see anything, it will get fixed by a friend who is a pro.
