I couldn't open the headlights to put angel eyes !!!!!!
 

Hello

Today i tried to open my headlights to put angel eyes and i couldn't. The guy said that the headlights are glued with silicone . He used the gun with warm air (i don't know the name:) but he didn't succed.
My car is from 2003. Please if you have some ideas tell me.

most 2002-2003 head light can not be open.

you need new headlights. check ebay for 2001 or 02 headlights.

My x5 was built i august 2002 will my headlights be ok to open?

Check the date stamp on the headlights. Anything from around Aug/Sep 2002 and on are "sealed"!

This is mentioned probably a gazillion times on here - use the SEARCH function!!

and really nobody opened a hella headlight from 2003 ???

Where is the date on the headlight?

sorry a pic did show up the stamp,but it's located on the top near the weather stripping. it's a clock with the year in the middle and one arrow pointed to a month.

on my headlight it is on the arrow 03 and the month is 2 ..... february 2003
