Are these actually any good?

What I'd like to be able to do is find out what any possible faults/error codes I might have and reset lights, etc without having to pay my local stealership £45 + VAT each time just to tell me whats up, becasue thats an expensive car wash PLUS I can wash it better myself!

Last time the muppets were going to charge me £120 on top of the price of the cam sensor, just to fit the thing! So I bought it from them and fitted it myself, job done and £120 richer! Still have the SES light on though LOL!

I would be interested to know the answer to your question too.

I was just about to ask the same question. I'm trying to purchase an OBD II tool for the same reason.

I think they want more than just clearing the codes.

I have one, so I should know.
Won't do airbags/SRS.

yeah but those OBD2 usb cables plus right softwares allow you to monitor life data and various information from different sensors (if supported)
