replace bulb with led bulb combo? nah.
 
dont use the bulb there, its silly. get a resistor and put it in series with the led(s) and it will keep from the error showing up. not sure how many watt resistor, it would depend on the watt draw of the bulb. cause if you do that and the bulb dies you gotta go open it up again. get a resistor from radioshack or the like that has a heat shield, and something that is continusly rated for the required wattage.:thumbup:

Sorry not a big fan of resistors as they generate so much heat. Luckily I didn't get any error with the LEDs I got, so no porblems for me.

I just got the license plate bulb warning. Sounds like a great time to grab a pair of these to replace the OEM bulbs. :thumbup:
