mtX5 03-17-2009 11:52 PM

wow.. you sure its not just a friend playing an inappropriate joke?

NastyBlackx5 03-18-2009 12:41 AM

X5 Meister 03-18-2009 12:59 AM

$3600 ? You really should ask for more, I mean I had a mountain bike once that cost more than half that amount and granted it wasn't as fast but it got better mileage.

panzercommander 03-18-2009 04:05 PM

alright i'll buy it. does it have a warranty?

X5Dawg 03-18-2009 04:21 PM

Question is, if it is a scammer, how did they get your phone number??

butundo 03-18-2009 05:28 PM

How did they get your picture? does the ad have your address as well? Of course the scammers are going to use photos of nice vehicles. I bet that they are in the military and are being shipped overseas in a week, and need to sell asap.

NastyBlackx5 03-18-2009 07:15 PM

yea they were in the military and it needs to be sold and its being sold for 3600$ becaue thats the payment left on the car, total BS, i talked to craigslist and they told me im apart of a new type of scam where they try to temp someone like me into helping them.

so the actual scammer has seen my posts previously, and my car was on craigslist when i was thinking of selling it (not updated no angel eyes). I think the whole idea is stupid but supposedly this is becoming really popular. After talking with "buyers" i found his email and threatened to sue him and then the post was deleted 5 min later.

i received at least 60 calls for the car in a mere hour.

weird stuff weird stuff

rastaFarai 03-18-2009 07:42 PM

interesting - what is the purpose of the scam? they try to temp someone like you into helping them??
