BMW # 64 11 6 923 204 final stage resistor...Price anywhere from 50 to 60 bucks....
|
I just done this a few days ago. Took 5 mins to remove two panels and locate the FSR. But took me 20+mins just to remove the connector. I squeezed on the two tabs but it will not disconnect. I tugged and tugged at it. I then use a flat-edge screw-driver to edge the connector out.
Then the new FSR just slides in and reconnect it. All working fine now. |
just ordered mine... 40 bucks shipped on Ebay from Deutche parts... I got one for my E36 from the same company and it works great.
|
...and I just put it in. Took me literally 10 minutes. Was surprisingly easy and great access. The DIY on the home page made all the difference in the world... but if you really take out your glovebox your a moron its completely unnecessary.
Gremlins are gone. Blower seems to blow harder now too. |

OH NO !!!. Not even 2 months later, the FSR died. The fan kept running and drained my battery. I had to jump start and pull the fuse to stop the fan. Where can I get reliable FSR? I got it from Ebay. So OEM is not good, ebay ones are not good too. I bought it from deutchse parts too. |

Ordered mine from: Auto Parts at AutohausAZ - OEM Auto Parts - Discount Replacement Parts, Resources and Car Care Tips. Part #: 64116923204. Its a Behr OEM replacement. This is how it went down:
Parts = $70.14 Labor = 20 minutes to install, didn't have to remove the glove box. A back rub from the wife after the cold A/C = Priceless! |
