Deals on extended maintenance?
Anyone know of any dealers offering deals on extended maintenance? Dealers in Jersey where I bought my preowned 2006 X5 4.4 wanted more than 2K for it... I've heard 1700 is a reasonable price... any ideas appreciated...

Call around. Morristown BMW might be a good one to try. It might have gone up but the dealer's cost on that was about $1400. MSRP was just under $2000. Again, it might have gone up since I got these numbers a few years ago.

Here's a Thread with Nine Pages of anecdotal advice, below.
Morristown, as PNG suggested, should be good, and Macon (GA) BMW comes up on the Juke Box regularly. Back in the day when I got my Ext Maint., circa early '05, the "official line" from BMW was that a BMW dlr had to see car/ run your key for the Maintenance sign up process...that seems to have gone by the wayside; thus, some dlrs are willing to sell it by long distance at more competitive pricing.
