Looks great! I will be doing this to my black X5, thanks for the link.
Install was easy? What is the process like if you don't mind sharing, also, are you able to drive right away or does the tint need time to cure, etc? |
The film comes with good instructions.
Basically you clean the lens real good; then spray both, the lens and the film, with soapy water. Apply as per instructions, make sure you have a squeegee! I did it in the evening and left in the morning without problems. Oh, make sure it is warm outside when you apply it, this make the film much more flexible. |

Looks great, but the film for the outer light doesn't seem to cover the red portion entirely. It looks like some of the red near the clear (blinker) portion are still exposed?

just ordered mine! For $20, no harm - no foul.

Looks good on black...
Surprised that VA, home of no radar detectors, speed/revenue cops thick on the Interstates, 65 mph Interstate speed limit, and on and on, would allow them, inspection-wise. But, I like the look, on black. GL,mD |

OP's ballz; I like the look. Rule #9 is really open to interpertation, but... I was just wondering how a state like VA, with its rigorous approach to rural interstate speed limits, detector bans, etc., would let that rear taillight deal slide through. Hope the OP gets to keep them...I am a proponent of less rules & regs. GL,mD LIS > Administrative Code > 19VAC30-70-150 |
