2002 X5 E53 AMPLIFER LOCATION

Hi,
I have a 2002 X5 E53 with the cassete deck on the head unit.
I want to change the ampflifer , where do I find it???

Also, I keep on getting the "Engine Check" light on the speedometer off and on. It goes off after a few days and then come back again. My technician says it is a faulty O2 sensor. How do I find out which one is fault and I have been told there are 4 sensors.

Thanks,
Faisal Hamid

Where is the amp for a non-dsp X5?

Not true!!
I have a factory amp with no DSP.

The amp is located under the CD changer. Here is a pic from one of the Stereo Tips and Tricks pages.
