hi everyone..i have similar noise...been asking around and was told is normal...i dont know everything and every noise on these cars is normal....mrbmw...where would i find intake boot yor reference in your post..i have a 2005 4.4...and like azx54.4 states i also have hight pitch noises in the cabin only not from radio mine appear to be linked to the hvac system/controls...thanks rob

the fix has been posted here in the past for the noise associated with the HVAC and throttle application. seach for it. I had the problem and it has to do with the HVAC tubes and the driveline/trans location

The high frequency noise you are talking about was another mystery I have had noticed as well and was told it is coming from hydraulics of rear self leveling suspension. Do I need to mention that it is perfectly normal? :)

Haha, thats bmw's answer to a lot of the noises I ask about. "Its normal" Well thats interesting that it might be a hydraulic noise for the rear self leveling suspension.
