V1 operation

I have a hardwire V1 installed in my X5.
I have the V1 set to "All Boogies".

Everytime I stop in back of a GMC Envoy, the V1 goes haywire.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
dmoney98

Are you getting a laser warning?

Some of the new red LED brake lights set off the laser detector at close range...

Yep. The laser goes off almost everytime behind the GM Envoy/Trailblazer. The other false warning I get is from the LED construction/information signs on the side of the road. It will freak you out if you aren't prepared.

There are a lot of things that will set off laser false alarms. If you have Nav, try holding your V1 in front of the screen. Major Laser Alarm.

I find that some store signs will set off the laser alert as well.

I too have been getting a lot of Laser false alarms lately but not from stores as those are usually on other bands. It appears that they come from vehicles that are going by me, therefore probably not brake lights but I am not sure. Very curious!

Mine has the latest update available. Only new false alarms on Laser band.
