If it all works out, I'll have it next week and post some shots.

Interesting update. Had AIM AiM Mobile Inspections - Professional car inspection service for new and used cars. go out and inspect the X5 I put money on. He spent 3 hours inspecting, testing, taking pictures etc! He revealed quite a few issues. Dealer wasn't willing to fix them so I'm still on the hunt. The best $129.00 I could have spent. I highly recommend them!

Too bad...What kind of issues??

They told me the tires were brand new and the front tires were worn to the casing on the inside. I said they need to be replaced and a wheel alignment done to make sure there was no front end damage (possible even with a clean car fax report) They wouldn't replace them, pay for a wheel alignment or discount the price. That was for starters...

No thanks...I agree with you moving on.

Good luck!

wow - I didn't think any used car dealer could sell a car with tires worn past the wear bars. That is a strange one. For such an expensive used car in this market it seems just amazing to me they would not address that simple concern. And the alignment is what $100 cost to them? and they have 4 in stock. I mean seriously - is it that easy to unload a $30K+ used vehicle that is almost out of warrantee coverage that gets under 15mpg combined? I guess so. Who-da thunk it? The economy must be all fixed like the media is saying then. woo hoo.

I know I was stunned! And they aren't just an average dealer, they sell Ferrari's too. I'd hate to be the guy that finally buys his dream car only to find out its a $100,000 lemon. Very scary! Let that be a lesson to all of us. On to the next one...
