As a matter of fact, if somebody has a Euro switch with rear fog lights button and has no interest or desire to install the rear fog lights, then the rear fog lights button can be used to turn on/off the Angel Eyes (coronas). You still will need to turn the parking lights on, so I don't know if this will make any sense or not... All of the work is done in one location at LCM module (except for a wire going from LCM to the light switch), and no other rewiring is needed.
To do so, one will need to run the wire from the light switch (S8) pin 8 to the pin 45 on connector X10117 on LCM (A3), "delete" pin 15 from connector X38 and install into the "pin 15 opening" wire 18 (pin 18) from the connector X10117 "delete" pin 1 from connector X12 and install into the "pin 1 opening" wire 3 (pin 3)from same connector X12. When I say "delete", it means just removing the pin and taping it off with electrical tape out of way, so you can always return back to original, should you desire so. |
