X-Pipe Mod Done! :D

I've been following this forum for quite a while and decided to join the bandwagon.

Anyway I own an E53 2001 4.4 with rear auto-levelling. Nice daily driver but not as powerful and handles slightly clumsy. Will work on it as time passes.

Today I did my X-pipe mod however I can't really hear the difference...or maybe I'm just deaf

Chopped of the old resonator

Half way done from cat to X-pipe

Almost done!

Used back the OEM spring-bolt locks

Enlarged the pipe to fit into the existing one. Easier to install :p:

Was also wondering if I am suppose to remove the cat to actually hear the difference but I am afraid I will lose out on low rpm torque... :(

If you wanted a little more sound, you should have just welded on a straight pipe instead of x pipe.

Worried the sound would be unbearable...

I had a 330CI auto and I change the piping and muffler and regretted...lol..

Scared to do so ever since...

Now I am thinking of lowering the car....finding good adjustable end links :D
