Bluetooth problems! Advice please!

Have a 2004 X5 e53.

i Cant get the bluetooth to work. I have tried everything, even changed the TCU/ulf modul. From 2004 to a 2006 TCU.

When doing the procedure, i get no flashing lights. Cant find any units.

Another strange thing, i bought a snap in adapter aswell. There is no power on the unit, the phone won't charge.

Any ideas? starting to get confusing!!

i dont believe that system works out of the box without the correct coding code. there is a retrofit coding to allow the bluetooth to become operation

so then i need to visit the BMW dealer?

Another strange thin, there is no power on the snap in adapter? will this come when coding then or?

what is the part number of the eject box? some require the use of an additional male to male harness. if you installed this system recently, check the power circuit eg. fuse for the telephone system.

This is build in buy factory, when the car was new. but the snap in adapter is new.
It is for the Nokia 6230i BMW part nr:84216973983

fuses checked again today,ok!!

The problem is to get the unit in pairing mode! Not been able to try pairing the phone yet! Nothing with the phone yet ( nokia 6230i).

If your phone is compatible. Here's the process.

I replaced the TCU in my 04 as well, didn't need to have it re-coded. The only time you need to have it re-coded is if you want the assist to work I believe.

Worked instantly with my iPhone as soon as I did the swap

Didn't for me:-( I have a ULF and a TCU, dont get any off them to work. ULF needs pairing and TCU don't.

Doesn't matter if the phone is supported, when the unit won't start pairing! and nokia 6230i is a supported phone, anyway.

I have the telephone uption in the display, would that be gone of the unit didnt work?

when i press the phone option, it says.

Emergency and call.

I pressed emergency yesterday, then the position came and all three lamps began to blink, green, yellow and red.
