I haven't regretted x-piping the X. It's subtle, yet still aggressive. I say go for it.

Kingcon, thats V8, I am wondering what whold a 6 cyl sound like?

I live in South Florida. I did somthing a little different to my exhaust but it still sounds very good. I kept the stock resonator and cut the rear mufflers off. The results came out pretty good but there was to much cabin noise, so I went back and added these small glasspacks to minimize the noise. I probably wont have any time to meet up but I can send you a video, And I can give you the number the to the exhaust shop thet did it for me. By the way I have the I6 too.

X pipe would still make your car louder on a 6 cylinder and will sound more aggressive

it does have a heavy growl, not as noisy or raspy, not a high pitch loud exhaust. it does wake up when you hit the pedal and the sound is so musclar. in my opinion it does nothing to the performance but I think it sounds grrrrreat on my 04 4.4.;)
