Not if he can get the alarm to unlock the car and open one of the other doors. There is a way to deactivate the alarm, but as KingSimon said, someone has to PM it to him so the information doesn't get spread all over the web and used maliciously.

What about holding the key in the unlock position to open the windows? If that doesn't work the battery may be dead or something... and that required some PM instructions. Let me know what happens with the windows down trick.

If the windows go down you will need to press the unlock button on the center console to release the double lock then pull the inner door handle twice to open the door. This will activate the alarm, but hopefully it will shut up when you turn the key on.

I'm not sure what he meant by the drivers door is broken and he said that when he turns the key, nothing happens...so I can only guess that both the handle and keyhole are INOP. The battery in his key is dead, so either it's an extra key that needs to be recharged (driving w/ the key is best, toothbrush charging station as a backup plan in this case to give it juice), the battery needs to be replaced (Radio Shack or eBay for the proper battery), or someone needs to PM the tip on how to disable the alarm. After that, I hope it's a learning lesson to quit being cheap and fix the door handle and key issues, that from the sounds of it, have been put off so long that now it's biting him in the ass. Live and learn.
