Abs sensor replacement....

Hi guys,
Well, after maybe 4 months of yellow lights in my cluster I finally found a moment to replace a faulty right rear ABS pulse sensor...ufff...What a PITA it resulted to be.
After I jacked the X up and removed the wheel I said: "that was easy"
and here the nightmare started,I spent about an hour finding the freaking way to get the bolt removed, lubricating it wasn't helpful since I couldn't find a right bit...when I found it I finally got it out, thanks god.
and there I found a completely destroyed sensor well stuck inside.
making the long story short I had to remove it by pieces...flat head screwdriver, drill ,a rotary tool...countless plyers..and after 2 hours I finally got it out.
It was amazingly welded into the aluminum alike part that holds the hub, rotor etc.
I am gonna upload the picture a bit later.
I think that this part could've been designed better or at least some kind of plastic housing would be a good idea,so the removal after few hundreds of kms wouldn't be such a pain.

Hi.

I replaced both my sensors on the rear wheels recently..

I was fortunate enough to not have any problems getting the bolts out, since they where nice and loose..

However, both the sensors caused some problem, getting them out. The plastic which the sensor is made of, was brittled, and they broke apart when i tried to pull them out..

I used wd-40 and worked the sensor around to loosen them.. Plenty of Wd-40.

On side, i got it loose enough to pull it out by the wire, on the other side, the wires broke, and what finally solved it, was to screw a phillips head screw into the sensor which was still in the hole, and by pulling and wriggeling, it came loose and out...

Very satsified when i got it out, but i was worried for a while that pieces would be stuck in there..

I was also worried about pieces breaking of the sensor falling into the hole where the sensor is situated..

Could this cause problems later on..? I guess there is no way out of there, exept the one hole.??
