check oil level read out

check oil level read out repeatedly shows on the instrument cluster display, oil checks ok could this be another alert indicator of some other issue? 03 X5 4.4

if the oil level is correct then u could have a bad oil level sensor.

Easiest thing would be to have the oil level sensor changed with your next oil change, which fixes it 90% of the time. Then if the check oil level message comes back erroneously again have the LCM (lighting control module) recoded as per the above service bulletin.
