Replace blower moter

How much work is it to replace the blower motor? On a scale of 1-10?? I was reading thru the manual and it says I will need to remove the whole dash to get to it. Is removing the dash a big chore? I was guessing it might take me 4 hours is this correct. Or is this a job better left to the pros? Then bentley manual had mentioned something about some one time use fittings or rivets.... will I need to buy anything other parts to put it back together.

Uhenry, You will need the Bentley manual to to this project and at least 8 hrs. It's not difficult but a tedious job. I enjoyed it but yes you do have to take off your whole dash, steering wheel, center console, glove box ect...

No special tools that I can remember. I used the little plactic pry bars here there. But the only thing I remember I needed was patiences and don't try to skips steps you everything has a order to come apart. Also be careful when doing the airbag area there are a couple of connector cables you have to disconnect and you do not want to break them or you will have to replace the cable. It's really not that difficult of a job.
