X5 is beeping, what feature did I turn on?
 

and how do I turn it off?

As I am driving, my X5 beeps at me. I look down at the display and it shows 4:59 pm and it goes away, about 10 seconds later I see that the clock on my radio changed to 5:00 pm. It seems to be happening right before the hour every time I see it.

Does anyone know what this feature is and how do I go about turning it off?

Yeah it's memo....go into the date and time setting and turn it off.........Phil
Oh I just noticed that you are in a E53...if you don't have nav....you might have a memo button on the right hand end of the radio....I think that's right.

u have turned on the detonator and triggered the countdown.... hehehe...

this feature has been around since the 80s.. play around with your OBC and you'll figure it out eventually..
