Sorry to hear your loss- I'm sure it's difficult after you have done a lot of work yourself to it.. I'm sure you will feel better about it after you get your 4.8is though....

I recently bought a set of new HVAC (I think that's what they are called) buttons- for temp up, temp down, etc... It was about $100 for a set and all I needed was a new drivers temp up button. Well I got a little greedy and swapped out all of them and I managed to accidentally break the old AND new button for Auto/interior/exterior air circulation...If you have this little button and it's not broken...Can I buy it? You would be my hero. I don't want to spend $100 again on a new set over one button. Also, if you have a compass mirror I would be interested in buying that from you too. I believe they are plug and play swappable....

I'm getting the 4.8is tomorrow!

wow, beautiful new x5! that is the exact one I would buy. How much are those running for these days?

Is it possible to swap your IS motor in place of my 4.4? How many miles on your x when it died?

Any info by anyone else to let me know if his motor could plug and play in my chassis.

Are you planning on replacing your wheels? I would love to upgrade mine. I only have 17"s
