The bulb change is pretty easy. The space behind the headlight allows an easy replacement, unlike say E60, where you have to at least tilt the headlight or even drop your bumper and take the headlight down, for a simple bulb replacement.

Unfortunately I can't advice about the ebay LEDs, since they are tricky, some might blink continuously or other can come with OBC errors about the parking light. You will probably have to confirm with the seller that the LEDs are error free, or maybe somebody who bought from him can confirm that.

Thanks for the reponse. The seller has stated that there is no flickers and no errors. Ill give them a go and see how I get on. Feedback from people who have purchased LEDs from this guy seem positive too

Sounds good. Good luck with it and waiting for the result pics when you get the LEDs.

r/e your light issues, i to have had the same thing and found that if i disconnect and re connect the black connector on the back of the head light assembly it goes away.

worth a try, plus its real cheap if it fixes it

Thanks

A big thank you to chas3 as I had exactly the same problem at the weekend and was puzzled by the indicator light coming on instead of the sidelight. The handbook doesn't tell you about this. Anyway I took it to Halfords thinking the bulb needed changed and it turned out to be only a loose connection!
thanks again.
