Got her inspected today, didn't need a thing. :dancing:

The mechanic also tightened a bolt on a control arm, which is what was causing my mysterious "steering clunk". Drives smooth again as well.

Would be nice if more folks had your luck!

Changed her valve cover gasket today, 3.0. Not nearly the job that the oil filter adapter housing gasket change was! However, no matter how careful, you will drop a part. I lost a cover nut and went to the hardware store to make a replacement out of an M6 standoff, washer, and nut, all cut to the appropriate length. It will do until I get to the dealer for the real thing. The perimeter gasket wasn't leaking, but the #6 plug hole was full of oil. Next job - drop a rear subframe bolt and get a look at dem bushings.

replaced my torn intake boot. No more whistle. Also did a half way oil filter only change since I will run out of time before my winter oil change (don't ask). Also did a fuel filter, which was either the easiest I have ever done or the hardest or some combination of both!

Putting it back to stock form and snap some pictures for the "For Sale" ad.
Also swap the projector fog lights over to the iS.
