Finished the transmission fluid change (had to let the transmission cool down). Reset adaptations and away we went. Smoooooth shifting transmission. No issues.

Yep. Not too many manual transmission 4.4i X5's running around.

I know 3.0 manuals exists but I thought 4.4 manuals weren't offered in the US.

They weren't. Only way to get a manual is to do a transmission change -- not for the faint of heart (or wallet). My point was in my signature it says I have a 4.4i, so I figured everyone would know it's an automatic. :thumbup:
