Installed new rear brake pads yesterday. Noticed that my driver's side rear tire has wear on inside edge :( Good thing I've already got new tires ready to install. Guess I'll get an alignment while I'm at it.

On that note, how often do you guys get an alignment done? My last one was two years ago.

If the alignment specs are set pretty well you should get a few years out of an alignment but every 2 years is a good regimen for it

Thanks! Glad your guy is doing well.

One of our guys has/had cancer (spindle cell carcinoma). We couldn't get good margins but the chest and abdomen are clear. We're going with low dose chemo as he's almost 10 (shelter rescue, not too sure). The other one has a pinched disc but is getting better with acupuncture and meds.

The X5 is their limo and it handles the chore with no complaints or issues. Vegas rain can be a bitch but the X5 just brushes it off, never losing composure on the slicker than snot on a marble doorknob streets. Even with over 100k miles she just keeps chugging away.

replaced front rotors and pads to get rid of steering shake when braking at higher speeds above 80km/hr. 1hr job not to bad.

If the owner had warped rotors or rotor thinner than the specified minimum thickness then these new ones could very well quell/eliminate the shake.

I guess I wasn`t clear on that sorry. the old rotors had a build up of rust on them where the pads would grab, which caused the shaking.
