Best Angel Eyes projection for 4.6IS

Thanks in advance

Headlight conversion

2 Attachment(s)
I bought these on ebay for my 4.6is and I am converting them by using my stock HID projectors. They look very OEM, much like the newer style headlights found on the facelifted model. To swap the projectors, I will have to open both (OEM & Ebay) headlights, carefully take them apart and swap the projectors. While I have them disassembled I will also add amber film around the outter silver part of the parking light so they look even more OEM... WHAT?!? ...am I the only one who actually likes a little amber on the corners? (I can almost hear a wave of gasps and cries from all over).

I hope I don't get banned from the site because I am actually adding the amber film.:bustingup

Hey, Ive been looking at a similar pair...can you give the seller name and can you also take pics of the process of the conversion? I might do the exact same thing. cant wait to see it finished.

ebay seller and pics of the process

The ebay seller's name is parasitesingle. They sell a variety of projector headlights for the X5, but this one looks OEM. There is another one that looks similar, but the headlight reflector and the projector is smaller....

I will take pictures of the process and post them.

The swap of projector from OEM is a good idea.

I also swapped the self-leveling motors from my original headlights.

It's a great idea as long as you can do the entire proceedure without being interrupted!

I was distracted by phone calls, honey do's and I felt very pressured. I ended up putting one of the projectors in upside down even though I had them clearly marked... I suppose there is not enought time to do it right the first time, but time to do it over? Oh well, I guess we're in for another baking.... :banghead:
