Heat/AC panel and fuse 48

I've had this problem lately with my 02, 4.4 auto a/c. Fuse 48 blows within seconds of start up. I searched and found several people here that have had a similar problem. One person suggested blowing out the sensor fan on the control panel. I did that and it worked long enought to give me a false sense of success, the fuse blew again. So, more searching, first for a wiring diagram but found nothing useful. Most every post I found that had fuse 48 blowing ended up replacing the Heat/AC control panel and that was the fix. I found one on ebay, relatively inexpensive, and installed it but the fuse still blows. It lasted for 6 or 7 starts then it was done. My question..... what else does fuse 48 power? My fuse panel diagram says it controls AC and heated washers but I don't have those. Where can I see a wire diagram without throwing down bucks for a Bentley? Thanks for any help.

Look at the top right under online references.

There are no "online references" selection button at the top right of my view. Thanks

ya - mine was blowing intermittantly, so I went from a 20A to 25A fuse and works fine now. Might be out of spec just slightly, but for now I am not to concerned with it as I have seen no strangeness or anything.

7.5 amp is what it should be ...not 20a.!This fuse only powers ac and heater.

ya - I forgot the numbers, I swapped in a 10A instead. the 7.5A would not blow immediately, but at least during summer months when using the AC it would occasionally go out.
