I went for drilled wheels and tires instead. Much less unsprung weight and rotating mass.

update on the brakes....been raining for a few days no rust and the stopping power is still fantastic. took the x for a spirited ride and no brake niose or warping at all..cant believe anyone would want oem rotors and pads when u can get these for a 3rd of the price.

Give it some time. The reason I buy OEM is the longevity. U can't tell anything in the first 500 miles.

Can anyone tell me approximate weight of both rear Brake disks? Approximate. I badly want to know as I need to do international shipping. And can anyone tell me, OEM brakes on ecstunning, Do they include both sides? I know it's crazy, but my dealership sells them seperatly for 1.5x more then what ecstunning has them for, and thats for one side!

One size does not fit all; The 4.6is and 4.8is have larger diameter rotors and the calipers are different.

Curious to see how they last you. I just did pads on the X5 and had the stock rotors turned, but I think I should have just replaced them w/ drilled or slotted rotors instead.

Best way to tell if ebay brake rotors are good is to toss them in water. If they float they are good.

That was a funny comment. No disrespect on ebay purchase, but I certainly agree with Dinan its not always how it performs but how long for. I'm still waiting for a full set of Stoptech big brakes from the US (2 months) there is a huge backlog on imports into Aus with the strength of our dollar, Be aware we're gradually buying up you guys little by little. Be afraid be very A'.

Thanks for the response, Gixxerboy. Since the set imsello bought includes the rotors that shouldn't be an issue if I have 20" wheels, correct? So I'd have to buy 4.6 calipers in addition but would that make it work?
